Das Hydrolat Neroli, gewonnen durch Wasserdampfdestillation der weißen Orangenblüten des Neroli-Baumes, enthält aufgrund der schonenden Herstellungsweise eine Vielzahl wertvoller Wirkstoffe und einen geringen Anteil an ätherischem Öl. Ursprünglich aus China stammend, ist der Neroli-Baum heute hauptsächlich in Marokko, Sizilien und Südfrankreich verbreitet, wo die intensiven, weißen Blüten einen angenehmen Duft verströmen. Das Hydrolat wird in der Aromatherapie und Naturkosmetik geschätzt, da es beruhigende, hautpflegende und aromatische Eigenschaften besitzt.
