All of our soaps are 9% superfat, this means that 9% of the oils are not incorporated during the saponification process and therefore remains on the skin to moisturise and nourish. Olive oil soaps are softer than palm oil soaps.
Therefore it is important to dry properly between use, by investing in a wire, stone or pottery soap dish with ventilation holes.

Soap Ingredients
- Olive oil: Used as the base oil (75% of oil component) in our soaps known throughout centuries for its ability to smooth, sooth and moisturise the skin.
- Coconut oil: A hard fat (25% of oil component) used to harden the soap and nourish skin.
- Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH): Ingredient that is necessary for saponification of the oils (this means changing the oils into soap).
- Sugar: Needed to increase the foaming level in olive oil soaps.
- Sea Salt: When plenty of olive oil is used in soap (75% in our soaps), the soap tends to be soft and slightly slimy. Sea salt helps to resolve this and aids additionally as an antibacterial ingredient.
- Fluid: Water, beer or carrot juice is used.
